Roe Buck Hunting
Season from 1st April to 20th October
Some of the Stalking North of Inverness and South West Scotland are in hill areas in large locks of young trees; in these areas it can be possible to shoot a good number of bucks.
Safari in Scotland owns the Roe Buck stalking rights on over 100,000 acres and also lets stalking on 7 large estates. These areas cover the whole of Scotland and there are suitable airports in all areas.
Our own Stalking areas in Aberdeenshire and Fife hold some very good trophy Roe Bucks each year several medal class heads are shot. We shoot some small Bucks here during the first 2 weeks of April then leave the area in peace to let the big Bucks make their territories.
Safari in Scotland can also arrange Red Stag and Sika Stag stalking in the Inverness area the best period for this hunting is September and October and may be combined with walked up Grouse shooting and Salmon fishing.
One of the best times to stalk for trophy class Bucks during the rut (last week July / first two weeks of August) this hunt can be combined with our Pigeon shooting
In addition to our Roebuck hunting we can also offer you Red Stag and Sika deer hunting in the Inverness areas. Most of this hunting will be in the mountains and we recommend this type of hunting to only very fit hunters.
